MRS PAT JELKS AND FAMILY; I AM ONE OF THE RUSSELL SISTERS. I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF OUR FAMILY AND THAT IS WHAT FERRIS WAS TO US. WE LOVED THAT GUY AS YOU WELL KNOW. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY US ALL. WE WOULD SIT AND TALK OF THE TIMES WE HAD AS NEIGHBORS EVERY TIME WE SAW EACH OTHER. THE FIRST TIME I SAW THAT FORMOSA TREE IN THE FRONT YARD OF THE JELKS HOUSE AS WE CALLED IT I HAD FERRIS TO PULL ME UP ONE AND I PLANTED IT IN MY YARD. THAT WAS YEARS AGO BUT EVERY TIME I SEE ONE OF THOSE TREES I THINK OF HIM. WE HAD MANY GREAT TIMES AS KIDS LAUGHING AND GROWING UP TOGETHER, AND NOW HE HAS WENT ON AHEAD OF US. BUT WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN ON THE OTHER SIDE. GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU ALL AT THIS TIME OF SORROW: FOR HE IS A GOD OF THE LIVING AND FERRIS HAVING DIED IN FAITH AND LOVE OF GOD IS NOW WITH HIM.. YOU ARE ON MY HEART AND IN MY PRAYERS.. JONESBORO, GA US
