Flora Barbara Tyler's Obituary
Decatur- Flora Barbara Tyler, 67, of Decatur passed away on Thursday August 25, 2011 in her home.
Barbara was born on January 24, 1944 in Princeton, KY the daughter of Hughes and Madeline Tinsley Lawrence. She was retired from Macon Resources. She previously had worked at Borg Warner and Elks Lodge. She was a member of Soy City Elks Lodge #1253
She leaves to cherish fond memories, her daughter, Cheunita Cruz of Warner Robins, GA; son, Damisi Tyler of Warner Robins, GA; seven grandchildren, Chivas Cruz, Cameron Cruz, Che’ Cruz-Howard, Caleb Cooper, Cassie Martin, Xavier Seals and Damisi Tyler Jr. She is also survived by special friends, Maggie Stewart, Vanessa Nash, Coretta Lofton, Anita Thomas, Mary Brown, Eva Shelly, Geneva Malone, and Rosie Shelley and several cousins, and a host of friends and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Homegoing service celebrating the life of Barbara will be 12 Noon Friday, September 2, 2011 in Church of the Living God C.W.F.F. with Elder Elston Carter officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
