Floyd F. Flesch, 76, of Decatur died at 7:11 am on Tuesday July 26, 2005 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services celebrating Floyd’s life will be held at 10:30 am Friday July 29, 2005 in the chapel of Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, where Rev. Mitchell Flesh will be officiating ; visitation will be Thursday evening in the funeral home from 6-8 pm. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Floyd was born in Decatur on December 04, 1928, the son of William and Clara Schlemm Flesch. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He married Mary Newberry on November 20, 1970 in Decatur. He worked for Archer Daniels Midland Company for over 27 years.
Floyd leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Mary of Decatur, son; Floyd also of Decatur; two grandchildren, Nike and Kyndall; two sisters, Alberta Armstrong of Decatur and Betty Elliott of Raytown, MO.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Floyd was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed very much by all who knew and loved him.
