Frances D. Seman's Obituary
Decatur – Frances D. Seman, 95, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Frances was born July 30, 1918 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Bernard and Mary (White) Davern. She was a homemaker and charter member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She married Joseph Seman on July 30, 1938 and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1975.
Surviving are her children: Nancy Ellis and Frank Seman of Decatur; grandchildren: David (Brenda) Ellis, Michael (Terri) Ellis, and Sue Ellis all of Decatur; five great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; sister, Alice Coble of California; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, one sister, and son-in-law, David L. Ellis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Monday, June 30, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
