Frances Lucille Wall's Obituary
Frances Lucille Wall, 84, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Frances was born on November 8, 1926 in Decatur the daughter of John and Irene Gaddis Sacco. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She retired from Willkins Pipe & Supply and worked at Quigles Furniture. She loved to play Bridge, was an avid Cub’s fan, and enjoyed following the Illini basketball team. She married John Thomas Wall in Decatur on September 24, 1949. He preceded her in death in January of 1982.
Surviving are her daughter Kelly O’Brien Dennis of Chatham; four grandchildren: Andrew O’Brien Amanda, Timothy O’Brien, Tyler O’Brien Lauren Kopec, and Kyle O’Brien of Chatham, and three great-grandchildren: Avery, Cameron, and Nolan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Betty Knight, and son, J. Patrick Wall.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday March 11, 2011 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Weltin as Celebrant. Visitation will be 6:00 ' 8:00 pm Thursday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with a Vigil Prayer service at 5:30 pm. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church
