Francis Eugene McDaniel's Obituary
Francis Eugene McDaniel, 90, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, in his home.
Francis was born July 16, 1929, to Chester and Mary Ethel (Bourquin) McDaniel. He proudly served in the United States Army. He married Jennie Louise Oldfield on February 19, 1950 in Decatur, IL.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Dustin Collins, Regina and Kimberly McDaniel; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jennie; daughter, Marcia Collins-Wagner; son, Michael McDaniel; and grandson, Damon Collins.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Francis McDaniel will be private. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
