Frank Hardy, Jr.'s Obituary
Frank "Beanie" Hardy Jr., 35, of Indianapolis, IN. formerly of Decatur, died Saturday, December 13, 2003 in Indianapolis.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2003 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, Minister Bryant Hardy officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Hardy was born on February 22, 1968 in Chicago, the son of Frank and Jheri Jackson Hardy Sr. Frank, better known as "Beanie", always loved trucks and was an over the road truck driver. He was known for his artistic, poetic, and auto-mechanic abilities.
He leaves to mourn: his parents of Decatur; grandfather, Joseph Jackson of Decatur; brothers: Kevin Hardy, wife Pat of Decatur; Bryant Hardy, wife Tiko of Normal; Randy Hardy of Champaign. Sons, Theo and Chris of Decatur; Kyle of Indianapolis; daughters: Alicia and Tiffany of Indianapolis; Ashley of Montana; uncles: Eddie "Sunny" Brown; Leon P. Jackson; Carl Hardy; Lonnie Hardy; Robert Hardy; Jessie Hardy; aunts: Joanne Jackson; Anna Ray; Dorothy Hardy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Frank enjoyed writing and reading poetry. He was an avid artist and enjoyed working on trucks.
His grandparents: Edna Jackson, Clara Hardy and R.C. Hardy preceded him in death.
He will be greatly missed, never forgotten, and always loved.
