Frank Donald Lewis' Obituary
Frank D. Lewis 58, of Decatur departed this life on Sunday September 28, 2003 in his home.
Homegoing services will be 10:00 am Friday October 3, 2003 in Christ Tabernacle Church 441 N. Church St. with the Rev. Kelly Wilson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Inter-Veterans Detail of Sangamon County. Frank was born on January 2, 1945 in Murphysboro, IL the son of Norah and Willie Mae Langford Lewis. He served his country for two years in the United States Army as a SP4 from September 15, 1965 to September 15, 1967 in Fort Benning, GA. He worked for Caterpillar Inc. for 33 years. He married Freda Dunn off Murphysboro, IL she survives.
Surviving are his wife, daughter, Wanda, sons, Ronald and wife Miquela, Leonard, Michael, and Floyd all of Decatur, IL; brothers, Bennie Ann, Reco Betty, and Bobby of Decatur, IL; Norah Jr. Bessie of Texas; John Patricia of Carbondale, IL; and Randy Erica of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Preston, Doron, Destinee, and Whitnee.
His parents preceded him in death.
