Fred Thomas Robinson's Obituary
Fred Thomas Robinson 59 of Decatur died Tuesday March 18, 2008 in his home.
Funeral services celebrating Fred’s life will be 11:00 Saturday March 22, 2008 in Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Edd Jackson Officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 ' 8:00 pm Friday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson was born on May 23, 1948 in Brownsville, TN the son of John Miller and Luevenue Voss Robinson. He received Christ at an early age and joined the Woodlawn Baptist Church in Brownsville, TN. He graduated Carver High School also in Brownsville, TN. He worked for Bob Brady, Miles Chevrolet, CB & Q, Wagners, and the Central Illinois R.R.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, his mother, Luevenue Robinson of Brownsville, TN; special friend, Laura Simpson of Decatur, IL; sisters, Johnnie M. Robinson of Brownsville, TN; Athy R. Brown Ben of Brownsville, TN; Claudell Todd Cleve of Decatur, IL; Cordia Musgrave Charles Brownsville, TN; Diane Brown of Brownsville, TN; Joyce A. Robinson of Decatur, IL; Carolyn Bankhead Sam of Decatur, IL; Delois Tyus Dennis of Brownsville, TN; brothers, Jimmy Robinson of Decatur, IL; David E. Robinson Claudine of Decatur, IL; children, Fred T. Robinson Jr. of Decatur, IL; Mary Robinson of Springfield, IL; Cynthia Robinson of Springfield, IL; Kimberly Robinson of Decatur, IL; Sophia Bradford of Springfield, IL; 15 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and twin daughters.
