I worked with Fred at St. Mary's for five years. I worked in Central Supply. Fred always had a smile for me, everytime i saw him. I am so sorry for what happened to him, and the family is in my thoughts and prayers. May God Bless everyone of you. Decatur, IL US
Dear Vicki, Lana and Debbie,Rodger called me at 9 last night to tell me about Stub. I was shocked to hear the sad news. When I think about my childhood memories, Stub always comes into the picture, whether we were racing our bikes or playing ball or fighting with each other, we always had fun! Not too long ago I saw Stub at the hospital and we had a good laugh about all this. I will try to make it to the funeral but just in case, I wanted you all to know I am thinking of you. May God encourage you, lift you up and give you peace today and in the days to come. Mt Zion, IL US
Our hearts are saddened by the loss of our friend, your father and brother. All of us were blessed with his friendship. Fred will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Remembering cookouts, Darts, holidays or just the pleasure of his company will always bring a smile to us. We will not say goodbye to our friend, just "see ya later". Decatur, IL US

Dear Vickie, Lana & Debbie, My heart goes out to all of you and your families. I can not imagine how hard this last month has been on all of you. I will always have found memories of Stub and all us cousins spending time together at family get togethers. I feel bad that I won't be able to make it to visitation or the funeral. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this sad and painful time. Sincerely, Brenda Paris, IL US
Fred always made me smile and laugh weather it was when I would run into him at St Marys or when I would see him at the Hard Hat. It was a pleasure to run into him anytime. He would give me candy too! I loved his upbeat personality and his way of enjoying life. I also enjoyed it when he shared his great wealth of knowledge. Decatur, IL US
