Garrett Lynn Osborne's Obituary
Garrett Lynn Osborne, 63, of Decatur, passed away July 16, 2023 in his home.
Garrett was born in Chicago on April 24, 1960, the son of Otis Moore and Annie Osborne.
Gary enjoyed riding his bike. He could ride that big “truck bike” across town to go help Weltmeyers wash trucks. They used to call him Hardtime. He would drink a few beers in his younger years. He never forgot family and friends. As he got older, his “big cushy” chair and his TV were perfect for him.
Garrett is survived by his sisters Portia Osborne of Minnesota and Aretha (James) Skiffer of Decatur; aunts Rosemary (Claude) and Katherine (Edward); uncle Dwight; six nieces and nephews; special friend Lisa; and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal grandmother Edna Osborne, and his sister Regina Osborne.
Moran and Goebel Funeral Home is handling cremation services for Garrett. A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Monday, July 24 at the funeral home. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.moranandgoebel.com.
