Dale Hopwood
Gary and I were best friends in our senior year at Macon High. He had just moved to Elwin from a big school in Decatur. He was so much fun. He use to work at Monocle's pizza in North Decatur, right next to the Brown Jug Steakhouse where I worked. We use to play records in his room at home and he could draw the most amazingly funny pictures. I graduated at semester and moved to Missouri to rejoin my family, sadly, we never spoke again. And to Lori, I definitely got his sense of humor! What a unique person! I still think of him all the time, and remember the some songs he would change the words to for fun. I wasn't aware he had passed away until I did a web search with his name. I miss you Gary, you are awesome...
