Gary Dean Pauley, 74 of Allenville IL passed away at 8:30 pm September 5th, 2025, at his home. Gary was born on November 22nd,1950 in Mattoon, IL. Son of Carl Lee Pauley and Jeanette, they precede him in death. Survivors include his children Gary Dean Pauley (Faith) of Mattoon, IL, Tyler Lee Pauley of Hawaii and Penny Burns (Brian) of Joilet, IL. Sister Linda S Lee (Larry) of Shelbyville, IL and special friend and neighbor Bob and Lilly Hargrove of Allenville, IL. Gary was preceded in death by seven sisters and five brothers.
Gary was a carpenter by trade and laid cable; He loved working with his hands. Gary loved hunting and fishing with his friends and family. Gary loved all of his nieces and nephews and brother and sister-in-laws. Most of all, Gary loved spending three-day weekends with his sisters in Oconee, IL having cook outs with all his friends and family. He will be sadly missed.
