Gebratha Perry's Obituary
Gebratha Bond Perry, 73 of Brownsville, TN but residing in Decatur, IL. Our loving mother, sister, grandmother, auntie, friend and family left to the calling of the Lord June 7, 2007.
Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday June 15, 2007 in Love Fellowship Church with Overseer James Wills officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Final resting place will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
Gebratha was born on October 23, 1933 in Brownsville, TN the daughter of Charlie T. and LeVirtha Reed Bond. She married Walter Perry Jr. on October 3, 1949 in Tennessee he preceded her in death on September 10, 2006.
Gebratha leaves to cherish precious memories one son, Marvin E. Patricia Perry Sr., three daughters, Linda Ann Bond, Labirtha Sam Johnson, Mary C. James Killings all of Decatur, IL; one brother, Charlie T. Bond, four sisters, Evelyn Millege of Saginaw, MI; Fannie Eddie Bond, Guster Latson, and Mazetta Emmitt Maxwell all of Milwaukee WI. She also leaves loving memories to her 13 grand Kids, 24 great-grand children and 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter Perry Jr., four brothers Luster, Elderd, Robert, Edgar Bond and two sisters, Laura and Virgie Bond. Also proceeding in death is her son Walter Perry III, one daughter, Elaine Elm, and two grandchildren Carlise Perry and Michelle Killion.
She is now in her final resting place with God and may God bless her. The family would like to give thanks to the family, friends, DMH staff nurses on 4100, Hospice, and Doctors that helped with the last days of Gebratha Bond Perry last resting moments.
