George Clinton Hill's Obituary
Forsyth – George Hill, 74, of Forsyth, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
George was born November 7, 1945, in Midnight, MS, the son of Lucille Hill. He was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and retired as a superintendent of Isolate Division at ADM. He married Marion L. Hopson in Chicago, IL, on May 28, 1971.
George is survived by his wife, Marion of Forsyth; son, David (Opal S.) Hill of TX; grandchildren: Corstian Hill and Khistler Hill; godson, Alvin Carter of TX; goddaughters, Melody Walker and Gwendolyn McAllister; siblings: Ruby Henderson of Chicago, Robert Hills, Sr, of Chicago, Willie J. (Mary) Hill, Sr, of Decatur, Charlie (Bertha) Johnson of Chicago, Sammy (Lula Bell) Johnson of MS, Allen (Linda) Johnson of NC, Lottie (Earl) Scales of MS, Elizabeth (Benny) Page of MS, Isaiah (Angela) Johnson of TN, and Velma (William) Adams of AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
George was preceded in death by his parents; brother David Hill and twin great grandsons.
