Decatur – George Edward Trump, 94, of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
George was born on November 8, 1930, in Decatur, IL, the son Charles and Julia (Marshall) Trump. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, George was the owner/operator of Trump Brothers Grain Company. He married Blanche E. Litts on July 11, 1951, in Decatur, IL.
George is survived by his wife Blanche; children: Dennis (Christa) Trump of Decatur, Debra (Dennis) Park of Warrensburg, and Linda (Gary) Jackson of Latham; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; sister Clarissia Trump; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
George was preceded in death by his parents, son Ronald Trump, and brothers: Jesse and Ralph.
Visitation will be from 10am until the service time of 11am, Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial with military rites will follow in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Macon County Honor Guard.
