Georgia A. Yuetten's Obituary
Decatur – Georgia A. Yuetten, 88, of Decatur, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth, IL.
Georgia was born July 3, 1930, in Louisville, Illinois, the daughter of William A. and Elmeda (Bonham) Wildbur. A member of Sunnyside Road Church of Christ, Georgia worked as a cashier at Buckmasters and Eisner grocery stores for many years. She loved to quilt, read and cook. Georgia was the “Go To” person on any number of things. Georgia also made “Magic Pillows” for many of her family and friends. She married Henry W. Yuetten, October 16, 1953 in Decatur and he preceded her in death January 27, 2011. Also preceding her in death were her parents, step-mother Tina (Painter) Wildbur and daughter Susan Yuetten.
She is survived by her children: Henry Yuetten of Decatur; daughters, Michelle (James) Smith and Janet (Brian) Bramer all of Decatur; grandchildren: Dustin Bramer, Allison Sowle, Nicholas Smith, and Joseph Smith; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday, September 24, 2018, at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Services to celebrate her life will be 11 am, Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Boiling Springs cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sunnyside Road Church of Christ.
