Gerald Lee Kerwood, 41, of Decatur, IL passed away February 21, 2019 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Gerald was born August 2, 1977 in Decatur, IL, the son of Carla Kerwood. He married Julia Randell on June 7, 2002 in Decatur, IL.
Gerald worked as a mechanic for many years. During his leisure time he enjoyed playing Magic the Gathering at Board Knight.
Surviving are his wife, Julia; children, Austin Carnahan of Evansville, IN, Johnathan Randell of Decatur, IL, Daniel Kerwood of Decatur, IL, Josie Bay of Decatur, IL, Kaylin Quertermous of Lovington, IL; mother, Carla Hoffman (Shane) of Decatur; father, William Cole of Paducah, KY; siblings, Aaron Kerwood of Decatur, IL, Sheena Hardy of Breese, IL, Tyler Hoffman of Decatur, IL, Felicia Shawgo of Lincoln, IL, Matt Cole of Paducah, KY, Dillion Cole of Paducah, KY, Stephanie Cole of Paducah, KY, Brandon Cole of Paducah, KY and two grandchildren.
Cremation services will be provided by Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. There will be no funeral services.
