Gladys Richardson's Obituary
E. Gladys Richardson 90 of Decatur died Sunday October 16, 2005 in McKinley Court Nursing Home.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be 10:00 Thursday October 20, 2005 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Wiese officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
Gladys was born on September 23, 1915 in Marion County, IL the daughter of Benjamin and Clara Jane Atterbery Heflin. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the LWML Friendship Circle Social and Fun. She was a former volunteer at McKinley Court Nursing Home. She married Paul M. Richardson on March 19, 1938 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1976.
Surviving are her sons Robert Richardson and wife Glenda of Decatur; Ronald Richardson and wife Margie of Iowa; daughter, Mary Gray and husband Dick of Robinson; eighteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great – great grandchildren.
She was preceded death by her parents, her husband and the people who raised her Merrit and Lena Bryant.
