Glenda Lou Adams' Obituary
Glenda Lou Adams, 76, of Decatur, IL passed away September 11, 2024, at her residence.
Glenda was born November 16, 1947, in Salem, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Bernice M. (Willoughby) Fair. She married Gerald Adams on February 16, 1966, in Centralia, IL
Glenda worked and volunteered at New Life Pregnancy Center and has both led and been involved with many prayer groups. She attended Renaissance Church, Decatur, IL. Glenda’s greatest joy was sharing her faith in Jesus with anyone she met and especially ministering to women. She very much enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as baking and gardening.
Surviving are her children, Rod Adams (Gretchen) of Mt. Zion, IL, Randy Adams (Kelly) of Wilmington, IL; brother Fred Fair (Phyllis) of Pocomoke, MD, sister-in -law Lisa Phillips of Coconut Creek, FL; grandchildren, Shelby Perez (Chris), Noah Adams, Alexia Adams, Collin Adams; great-grandchildren, Lily and Oliver Perez.
Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, parents, and her brother Phillip Fair and his wife Jodie Fair (sister-in-law).
An open house will be at Renaissance Church, 456 N. Water, Decatur, IL from 1:00 to 3:00, Saturday, September 21.
