Glenda Mingus' Obituary
Glenda R. Mingus, 75, of Decatur passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2015 in Imboden Creek Living Center.
Glenda was born on July 9, 1939 in Lincoln, NE the daughter of Clifford L. and Alvina (Johnson) Hull. She had worked for St. Mary’s Hospital. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Surviving are her sons, Terry Mingus (Joyce) of Meade, KS; Rev. David Mingus (Susan) of Cleveland, OK; Cheryl Collins of Mt. Zion; daughter-in-law, Amy Mingus of North Pole, AK; brother, Dean Hull of Washington State; sisters, Marlis Bigsbee of Portland, OR; Virginia Knigge (Carl) of Portland, OR; Connie Jo Ratcliff of Coeur d’Alene, ID; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Mingus; sister, Carol Ann Hull; and son-in-law, Michael Collins.
Honoring Glenda’s wishes cremation will take place at Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. There will be no public services. Memorials are suggested to Safe Haven Hospice or Holy Family Catholic Church.
