Glenn Edna Kinney's Obituary
Glenn Edna Kinney, 65, of Decatur passed into eternity Friday August 3, 2007 in Glenshire Nursing Home, Chicago.
Homegoing services celebrating her life will be 11:00 am Saturday August 11, 2007 in New Life Church of God with the Rev. Brenda J. Miller officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Glenn was born February 10, 1942 in Brownsville Tennessee, the daughter of B. T. Taylor and Jennie B. Clark. Glenn and her family had moved to Decatur Illinois in 1967. She was employed at F.W. Mean for many years.
She leaves to cherish precious memories; her husband, Roy Kinney, one daughter; Glenda Kinney Norman Binder; six sons, Willie Taylor Patricia Lofton, Tony Kinney Janiera Adams, Steve Melanie Kinney, Eugene Kinney Sara Bates, James Kinney and Ricky Kinney all of Decatur. She leaves four wonderful sisters, Regina Bryson and Rebecca Transou of Decatur; Katherine Gray of Jackson, TN; and LaVerne Raymond Pewitt of Denmark; one brother, L.V. Taylor of Decatur; also surviving are two uncles, Willie D. Clark of Decatur; and Jeff Clark of Brownsville TN; one aunt, Florance Anderson of Toledo, OH; twenty grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one son. Glenn will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
