Glenn Lowe's Obituary
Glenn E. Lowe 80 of Decatur Il passed away on January 24,2025 at his home. He was born in Decatur Il on March 9, 1944, to Ted and Elberta Garrett-Lowe.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 40 years, Allison; son, Michael(Deanna) Lowe of Decatur; grandchildren, Cara Hoffman of Goose Creek, SC, Brianne(Brandon) Hamell of Mt. Auburn, Zach(Melissa) Watrous-Hoffman of Decatur Il, Alyssa Lowe of Decatur Il, Zayne(Chelsea) Lowe of Decatur Il and Andrew(McKenna) Duncan of Decatur Il; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Bailey, Peyton, Dexter, Declan and Zayleigh and sister, Mary Knittle of Decatur Il as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Glenn was preceded in death by son, Ted Lowe; daughter, Tracy Hoffman; parents Ted and Elberta Lowe; sisters, Emma Jean, Shirley and Harriet and brother, Leo and Reed
Glenn graduated from Warrensburg-Latham in 1962 and after graduation he worked for Staley’s for 30 years, A.J Walker for 2 years, Bob Demeat for a year and the City of Decatur for 10 years.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Glenn’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Glenn was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.
Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Watrous-Hoffman, Travis Boehm, Zayne Lowe, Brandon Hamell, Andrew Duncan and Billy Gietl.
