Grace Helen Twinem Solverson's Obituary
Grace Helen Twinem Solverson, 81, of Mattoon, formerly of Decatur, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Mattoon Health Care.
Grace was born May 27, 1926, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of George and Rose Roden Twinem. She was a homemaker and a former member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Decatur. Grace married John “Peter” Solverson on September 4, 1948 in Northlake, WI, and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2004.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Larry Beasley of Charleston; grandchildren: Melissa Neal Butcher of Carlsbad, CA, Kristen Jeremiah Webb of Tucson, AZ, and Timothy Beasley of San Francisco, CA; and a sister, Jane Smith of Wauwatosa, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorial gifts in her honor are suggested to the American Lung Association and Macon County Humane Society.
