Harold Dean Noe's Obituary
Harold Dean Noe, 86, of Decatur died Saturday May 22, 2010 in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home.
Harold was born on February 5, 1924 in Decatur, IL the son of Vernon H. and Mary J. McCray Noe. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer after 26 years of service. He was also a Civil Service Worker and worked for a defense contractor before retiring. He married Evelyn Hollingsworth in Indiana she preceded him in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Rene Noe of St. Mary’s, GA; brother, Donald Betzer Judy of Idaho; sisters, Judy Luttrell of Decatur, IL; Janet Maligmat of Decatur, IL; Alice Reynolds of Macon, IL; and Sally Lafferty John of Bordentown, NJ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Delbert H. Betzer; wife, one son, Keith Noe; three brothers, Tom Betzer, Neal Betzer, and Paul Betzer; and one sister, Betty Wosick.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday May 27, 2010 in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home Court Yard with Military Rites Conducted by the Macon Honor Guard. Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
