Harriet L. Napierski's Obituary
Harriet L. Napierski, 94, of Decatur, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Harriet was born January 30, 1913, in LaPlace the daughter of George W. and Inez E. McMaster Steffen. She was a homemaker and a member of Central United Methodist Church, Democrat Women's Organization and Macon County Historical Society. Harriet married John A Napierski in 1934 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1991.
She is survived by her sons: Max A. Napierski of Decatur, John D. Diane Napierski of Mesa, AZ. and William K. 'Kent' Terri Napierski of Mt. Zion; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; step-sisters: Dixie and Doyne both of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-mother, Edith Steffen, one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Funeral service: 11 am Wednesday, January 30, 2008, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials: Central United Methodist Church or Macon County Historical Society.
