Harry V. Turpin, 58, of Decatur went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2016 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Harry was born on December 9, 1957 in Ripley. Lauderdale County, TN to Josie M. Jarvis. He excepted Christ at an early age, attending Elam Baptist Church in Ripley, TN. He was employed by Borden Chemicals, Firestone, and G&D Integrated. He attended Richland Community College and received his CDL. Driving for Star Transportation.
He leaves to cherish his memories his brothers, Rev. Larry Turpin (Magnolia), Terry Buck (Gail), and Michael Walker; step-daughters, Angie Jackson, Tavere Eubanks, Monika Burbury; step-son, Dejesus Eubanks; step-grandchildren, Dianica, Danesha, Kendall; four step-great-grandchildren, a very special friend, Velettla (Turpin) Eubanks, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Josie Jarvis, twin brother, Barry V. Turpin, brother, Eddie C. Williams, sister, Louise Buck uncle, James Walker, aunt Earlean Manley.
Homegoing Service to celebrate Harry’s life will be 11:30 AM Friday, December 2, 2016 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Turpin officiating. Visitation will be 9:30- 11:30 Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family.
