Helen E. Albright's Obituary
Helen E. Albright, 75, of Decatur, died on Fri. Dec. 10, 2004 in her home surrounded by her family.
Mass of the Resurrection celebrating her life will be 10 a.m. Tues. Dec. 14, 2004 in St. James Catholic Church, Fr. Jeff Grant celebrant. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Mon. in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home where a vigil prayer service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Memorials: St. John's Hospice.
Helen was born on Nov. 3, 1929 in Decatur, the daughter of Phillip and Lucille Nalefski Burgener. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at St. Mary's Hospital before retiring in 1995. Helen married James W. "Jim" Albright in 1956 in Bement and he preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 2003.
Surviving are her children: Kurt W. wife, Carol Albright; Mark P. Albright and Maribeth Albright. Grandchildren: Daniel and Kileen Albright; siblings: Don wife, Ruth Burgener, Mary husband, Max Best, Ray wife, Beverly Burgener, Phil wife, Barbara Burgener, Virginia husband, John Hannon, Lucille husband, Dick Chamberlain, Theresa husband, Tim Davidson, Sue Husband, Vern Dargel, Chuck wife, Marsha Burgener, Leonard wife, Vicki Burgener, John wife, Linda Burgener, Bob wife, Marsha Burgener; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her parents; husband; infant son, Eric; daughter, Kelly; and two sisters: Barbara Kisters and Karol Pollack preceded her in death.
