Helen Jean Amos' Obituary
Decatur – Helen Jean Amos, 93, of Illiopolis, passed away, Thursday, January 31, 2019.
Helen was born November 26, 1925, in Grindstone, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Henry Emil and Beatrice Virginia (Muarry) Davidson. She married James Larry Amos on December 7, 1945, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers, Henry, Jim, Bill, and Bob Davidson; a sister, Jayne Falcone; two grandchildren, Jason Meister and David Perry.
Survivors include her three children; Barbara (Ken) Talley of Chesapeake, Virginia, Debbie (Gary) Deaton of Illiopolis; and Jamie (Mike) Meister of Illiopolis; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Helen’s hobbies include square dancing and going on cruises. She loved family time.
