Helen Louise Butts 82 of Decatur died Wednesday May 9, 2007 in Fairhaven's Christian Home.
Funeral service celebrating Helen's life will be 1:00 pm Monday May 14, 2007 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 pm Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the North Fork Cemetery. Memorial gifts are suggested to Fairhaven's Christian Home.
Helen was born on February 5, 1925 in Decatur, IL the daughter of James and Lillie Gillian Borders. She married Paul Taylor he preceded her in death. She then married Ralph Butts, he also preceded her death.
Surviving are her daughters, Janet Martin Paul of Decatur; Paulette Amick Glenn of Decatur; Connie Major Bill of Florida; Toni Clough Hal of Deltona, FL; sisters, Marie Smith of Kansas City, MO; Lucille Pundt of Decatur; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one brother, and two sisters.
Helen's family would like to thank Dr. Khan and staff at Fairhaven's Christian Home for all their care.
