Helen Idela Lee's Obituary
Helen Idela Lee, 96, of Decatur, IL, passed away at 12:05 P.M. at Decatur Memorial Hospital on Thursday (09-15-2022).
Helen was born on September 9, 1926, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Olin Idleman and Dolly Varden (Sutton) Idleman. She married Roy Everett Winfield Lee on June 6,1946 in Decatur, IL. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2007.
Helen worked as an Assembler at the G.E. plant in Decatur, IL. She was a big fan of the Chicago Bulls, she really loved African Violets, and raised AKC Poodles.
Helen is survived by her daughter Candis Underwood and her husband Rich of Saybrook, IL.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Mary Jane Orsborn of Neoga, IL, and Juanita Simon of Washington, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Dixie Arthur, and one brother Charles Idleman.
A private family graveside will be held at a later date. The burial will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.
