Henry Louis Hack's Obituary
Henry Louis Hack, 82, of Decatur passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 in DecaturMemorialHospital.
Mr. Hack was born on April 28, 1930 in Decatur, IL the son of Henry Lee and Minnie (Belue) Hack. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a retired foreman from A.E. Staley Manufacturing. He was a Member of the VFW Post #730, an avid golfer, a member of the Duffer's Golf Club, and the Par Tamers Golf Club. He married Alice Harris on August 17, 1951 in Decatur. She preceded him in death on August 3, 1998.
Mr. Hack leaves to cherish fond memories, his daughters, Henri Ann Fonville (Leon) and Jan Hack of Decatur; brother, Bennie Hack (Delores) of Decatur; one grandson, Braxton Fonville of Decatur; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Hack was preceded in death by parents, wife, one brother, and one sister.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. William Franklin MD and his staff, the staff at McKinley Court Nursing Home, Decatur Memorial Hospital, and the RN Nursing program at Richland Community College for all their care and kindness.
Homegoing Celebration will be 11AM Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. C.D. Stuart officiating. Visitation will be 4-6 PM Friday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and one hour before service in the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard and will conclude with the 'Flight Home' ceremony.
