Hosea Williams, 81 of Decatur, IL went to be with his Lord on Saturday May 10, 2003 in Cedarwood Healthcare Center.
Homegoing Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday May 15, 2003 at the J.J. Moran and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. J. C. Rice officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery with military rites conducted by The Inter-Veterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County. Condolences may be made to the family at www.jjmoran.com.
Mr. Williams was born in Margo, Mississippi on March 15, 1922 to Will and Katie Williams. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was retired from Wagoner Castings of Decatur. He married Inell Woods in Decatur in 1940 she preceded him in death.
He leaves not to Mourn but to cherish fond memories his daughter, Mildred Browning of Decatur, IL; brother, Eugene Williams of Tennessee; sister, Delores Williams of Tennessee; 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
His parents, wife, and two brothers preceded him in death.
