Jamie how sorry I was to hear about your Dad. Spent many hours at the car wash on Eldorado. Sometimes 1 or 2 of us might wash our car. We were a good respectable group and occasionally the city police stopped in to visit with us. Good times and memories of a great man. Prayers and love to you Jamie.

My cousin , Hubie and I both are members of the Baby Boomer generation. He was born Febriary 22,1949 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. I was born November 2,1949, in the same hospital. We were both delivered by Dr.Hubert Magill. In fact he was named after this doctor .Hubie's parents took him home according to my Mother, his paternal Aunt. Here,his oldest sister,Marketta,was unable to say Hubery. SO, the nick name Hubie surfaced and stuck with him through out life.
While on vacation with Hubie, my
cousin, in Memphis , TN ,he went 19 miles out of his way before stopping at a gas station to ask for directions. About 3 miles into this journey I asked where is your garmen? He replied it is on my kitchen table. We were headed to Graceland where he had visited in the past. We both laughed about it later. Love and miss you. Rest in Peace.

Hubie was always a jokester but to anyone who knew him, knew he had a heart of gold and he always tried to make you laugh!
Hubie, and his son and grandsons, always came to my house in Lebanon, Indiana for the annual 4th of July celebration. It could be rainy and cold or 90 degrees and they would be there. We will always have these cherished moments of this time together as a family.
I will dearly miss you, Hubie Bone.....your laugh and wit will always be with me. May you Rest in Peace.
