Jack L. Holt, 79, of Decatur died Wednesday March 25, 2009 in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.
Memorial service will be 1:00 pm Monday March 30, 2009 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Pastor David Catron officiating. Donations or contributions at Jack’s request may be made to Cervical and Breast Cancer Society
Jack was born on July 15, 1929 in Aurora, IL the son of Jesse and Lola Dial Holt. He worked at Borg Warner and retired in 2005 from Prairie State Bank after 19 years of service. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed time with family and friends. He attended church at Life Four Square Church.
Surviving are his sister, Betty King Richard of Fort Wayne, IN; children, Diane Price of Baroda, MI; Bob McClure Sandy of Peewee Valley, KY; Karen Jarrett of Tuscola; Sharon Forshee Roy of Cerro Gordo; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; He also leaves behind his precious friend and companion Dodie Luker of Decatur.
Gone before him are his parents, wife three sons, one brother, and one sister.
