Jack Nolan Leggions' Obituary
Decatur-Jack Nolan Leggions, 84, departed from his life on Monday, September 19, 2011 in Aspen Ridge Nursing Home.
Mr. Leggions was born on March 15, 1927 in Brownsville, TN the son of Oscar Leggions and Minnie Smith; he was an employed at Wagner’s Casting Company and worked at C.B.Q. foundry, standard steel company, Wabash Rail Road, Illinois Central Rail Road, Orlando Hotel, and the Park Board.
Mr. Leggions, Leaves, to cherish fond memories to his loving and devoted wife, Mary Louise Leggions, of Decatur; sons, David Gladys Leggions, Terry Leggions, Gary Leggions, Victor Leggions, Delbert Patricia Leggions all of Decatur; Christerfur Leggions and Jeffery Leggions both of Wisconsin; cousin, Elder Peter Hess of Decatur; daughters, Nancy Leggions, Lisa Leggions, Teresa K. Jerry Williams, Margaret Nash all of Decatur; and Sharon Mitchell of Wisconsin; 31 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Smith; father Oscar Leggions, brothers, James Leggions, James Thomas, L.H. Thomas, uncle Gick Ligons, sister, Mary Brown, step-sister, Farrah; sons, James Junior Leggions, Kelvin Eugene Leggions, Richard Lee Leggions; daughters, and Ruby Suzzette Leggions.
Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 30, 2011 in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 – 1:30 pm Friday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home.
