Jack B. Nelson's Obituary
Jack B. Nelson 83, of Decatur entered into eternal rest on Thursday January 23, 2003.
Services celebrating his life will be 2 P.M. Monday January 27, 2003 in J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before services. Bruial will be in Graceland Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard.
Jack was born in Oscalusa, Iowa on April 20, 1919 the son of Jack and Beulah Baldwin Nelson. A member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Jack worked as a machinist for Caterpillar and Hughes Aircraft. Jack proudly served our country in the Navy during WWII. He married Ethel V. Lee on August 06,1939.
Surviving are his wife; son, Jon Nelson Comille of Tuscon Ariz.; daughters, Candace Kain Tom of Tuscon, Ariz.; Jackie Myers of San Antonio, TX.; step-brother: Bill Dunaway Love of Decatur; step-sister: Rosemary Dunaway of Decatur. Nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 sister.
