Jacqueline Neff's Obituary
Decatur- Jacqueline Neff, 93, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in St. Mary’s Hospital.
Jacqueline was born on March 19, 1921 in Decatur, IL the daughter of John F. and Irene C. (Smith) Finley. She was a 1940 graduate of Decatur High School, and was retired from St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur. Jackie was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. She married Archie F. Neff on June 14, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1958.
Surviving are her daughters, Sandy (Mike) Smith, Bobbie (Jim) Bland, Linda (Tom) O’Dell, Debbie (Tony) Clark and Pam Rife. Jackie also is survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Archie F. Neff, her brothers and sisters (Marjorie A. Lockard, Sgt. William F. Finley, C. Philip Finley, Betty J. Sims), son-in-law Mark Rife and one grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Jacqueline’s life will be 1 pm Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church 407 E Eldorado St, Decatur, IL 62523 by Rev. John Burnette, Celebrant. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Friday, in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Decatur, IL. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Patrick’s Grade School, 412 N. Jackson, Decatur, IL 62523.
