Uncle Jim was not only my mentor but also my friend and confidant. My fondest memory was at his home on Round Lake. We were all building a pier to park Dad's new boat. Jim walked out onto an unsecured board over-hanging the water; it flipped up hitting him in the rear and into the water. We all had a great laugh at his expense.
