Dear Bret and Family, We feel great sorrow that we have lost Jim. He was a wonderful man and a very skilled, caring dentist. We, as well as his little patients, will think of him for many years to come. He really did make this world a better place because he lived here. I just wanted to give Ellen's and my love and prayers to Aunt Rita and all of my cousins. It was an honor to be asked to be a pall bearer. I did learn something new at Uncle Jim's funeral that I wish I new before he passed away. My cousin David Morgan went to dental school with Jim. He recommended him to me before he came to Decatur. My sons, Bryan & Jason Yates are still patients. Jim used to call me into the office to say hello even though my boys are 33 and 37 years old now. Former employee Boots Lowe is now our mayor in Moweaqua, so we talk about Jim from time to time. I am sorry for you to lose him. He was a wonderful man. When I was a single mother for 8 years, he saved me money by designing a special appliance for Jason's mouth that saved us many dollars later by not having to use braces to correct his underbite.
