James W. "Jim" Albright, 80, of Decatur, died on Sunday October 5, 2003 in Imboden Creek Living Center.
Funeral Mass will be 10 A.M. Thursday October 9, 2003 in St. James Catholic Church, Decatur, Fr. Jeff Grant celebrant. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with vigil prayer service at 4:45 P.M. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville. Jim was born on April 2, 1923 in Clarksdale, IL the son of Walter and Helen Sullivan Albright. He was a farmer in the Hammond area since 1950 retiring in 1988. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Piatt County Farm Bureau and National Association of Watch and Clock Collector's. Jim married Helen Burgener in 1956 in Bement, Illinois.
Surviving is his wife; children: Kurt W. Carol Albright, Mark P. Albright, and Marybeth Albright; sisters: Mary Albright and Connie Kindahl; grandchildren: Daniel and Kileen Albright; many nieces, nephews and friends.
His parents; infant son, Eric; and daughter Kelly preceded him in death.
