Jim did so many Great things for the game of softball! It was a Honor to be a part of it.I wish there was a 100 more people just like him!He diffently should be in the ASA Hall of Fame for all he's done for Decatur and the game of Fastpitch!!I'm sorry I couldn't be present,but I send my Condolences to Betty and the Family of such a great man.He will be missed by myself and all of Softbal!!!! Betty and Family sorry to hear of your loss. As a kid growing up in OWANECO Il every town had a softball team. Assumption had a a player name Nicol that was the best pitcher. In later years it was neat to be able to call Jim Nicol a Friend. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Decatur, IL US
