James Thomas Pender's Obituary
James Thomas Pender passed away on Friday August 21, 2009 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Homegoing services will be 11:00 am Friday August 28, 2009 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Dunning officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
James was born on July 7, 1928 in Brownsville, TN the son of Thomas and Lula Voss Pender. He worked at McDonalds on East Eldorado. He loved taking long walks and liked to smile.
He is survived by his sons, Gary Thomas Pender of Decatur; Midgett Michael Pender of Detroit, MI; ex-wife, Armie Malone and a host of other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Elnora Mann and Pearl Jones, three bothers Willie Tom Pender, John Frank Pender, and Phillip Pender, and one sister, Jewel Phillips.
The family of James Thomas Pender is being served by Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe Street, Decatur, IL.
