James Michael Tertocha's Obituary
James Michael 'Jim' Tertocha, 62, of Decatur, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
Jim was born July 17, 1950 in Decatur, the son of Ralph Robert and Katherine (Harshbarger) Tertocha. A US Army veteran and member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Jim worked at Firestone for 29 years. He married Salvacion L. Corsanes Lego in 1997.
Surviving is his wife, Salve of Decatur; sons: James Anthony (Tammi) Tertocha of Maroa and Steven (Jen) Richardson of Streator; daughters: Lisa (Carlos) Delgado of Edwardsville, Kristine Richardson and Sheila Richardson of Decatur; brother, Thomas William (Gayle) Tertocha of Elizabethtown, IN, and sister, Sylvia (Larry) German of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren: Gavin, Kylie, Zander, Taylor, Tyler, Kaybri, Cameron, Payton, Madison, Abby, and Aubrey; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Following cremation services to celebrate Jim's life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation will be from 1 – 2 pm in the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's ICU and fourth floor for taking great care of Jim.
