James L. Warnick's Obituary
James L. Warnick, 84, of Decatur, died on Sunday, Mar. 19, 2006 in Savoy.
Visitation will be Wed., Mar. 22, 2006 from 6 to 8 pm. in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will take place at 11:30 am. Fri. Mar. 25, 2006, in Zion Cemetery, Boody, IL with military rites conducted by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to the: James L. Warnick memorial fund. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.
James was born on May 02, 1921 in Boody the son of Edward and Mabel Swarms Warnick. An Army Air Corp. veteran of WWII, James was a truck driver for A.E. Staley before he retired in 1984. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #99, American Legion Castle Williams Post #105 and the Eagles Lodge #507.
Surviving are his children, Gary Diane Warnick of Mt. Vernon, Kevin Debbie Warnick of Decatur, Carrie Matthews of Savoy, Steven Warnick, Jimmy Becky Warnick, Jason Warnick, Bradley Warnick all of Decatur and 15 grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his parent, and two sisters.
