Janice Dorothy. Grammer 87 of Decatur died Saturday June 26, 2004 in her home.
Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Wednesday June 30, 2004 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Jeff Grant as Celebrant. Visitation will be one hour before service in the church. Janice was born on December 4, 1916 in Decatur the daughter of Cecil T. and Margaret Sheehy Royce. She married Louis Grammer on June 24, 1940 he preceded her in death on May 10, 1983. She was retired from the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad CSX. She was member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ladies of the Elks 401, Woman of the Moose, and a former member of Macon County Farm Bureau. Janice was a graduate of St. Teresa High School.
She is survived by he son, Richard R. Grammer Linda of Decatur; son-in-law, Ignacio Quihuis Norma of Decatur; grand-daughters, Erin Sundermeyer Dan of Clearwater, FL; Mandy Grammer of Warren, RI; Libby Grammer of Los Angles, CA; and Ana Lingle Jeff of San Francisco, CA; grand-sons, Matthew Grammer of Decatur; and Nathan Quihuis Junka of Atlanta, GA; step-grand-daughter Stephanie Pilger Chris of Decatur; Brother-in-law, Elwin Grammer of Decatur; and for great-grandchildren, loving companion, Roe Skidmore Sr. and his family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Judith Quihuis, two brothers, Jerry Royce and Robert Royce.
The family would like to thank the DMH Staff, Jan, Lisa, Sally, The Kidney Treatment Center staff, Dr. Ellis, and Dr. Neviackas for their loving care during Janice's illness.
