What a precious lady! And such an influence in my life! I'll never forget how she bought me a pair of gold cross earrings for Christmas when I was 10 years-old, and I didn't even have pierced ears yet. She knew I wanted my ears pierced so badly but mom and dad would not let me until I was twelve. So, she kind of helped the process along knowing I would pester my parents until they relented...which they did! My Aunt Jan was the best!
Janice was my first friend when I started high school in Mt. Zion. My condolences to her family and friends. She was truly a great faithful friend. We lost touch after I moved to Missouri in 1960.
