Jeanette Kaylor-Henson 88 of Bloomington, IL formerly of Mt. Zion, IL died Thursday March 6, 2008 in Normal, IL.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 pm Friday March 14, 2008 in St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Jeff Grant as Celebrant. Visitation will be 5:00 ' 7:00 pm Thursday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with a Vigil Prayer Service at 4:45 pm. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Scovill Park Zoo in Decatur.
Jeanette was born on April 5, 1919 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Alexander and Catherine Slesicki Ackles. She worked as a machine operator for Hi-Flier Kite Factory. She was a master photographer and an excellent gardener. She loved her collection of thimbles and marveled at her many sun catchers as they caught the first morning rays of sun. Most of all she loved her family. She married Ralph H. Kaylor in 1937 he preceded her in death in 1963. She then married William Carl Henson in 1979 he preceded her death in 2003.
Surviving are her daughters, Shirley Hollingsworth of Santa Clarita, CA; Deborah Ridgeway Tim of Bloomington, IL; sons, Gary Kaylor Donna of Cave Creek, AZ; Dennis Kaylor Tracey of Woodbury, CT; son-in-law, Jim Reedy of Urbana, IL; sister Helen Laux of Sacramento, CA; step-son, Bill Henson Peggy of Mt. Zion, IL; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one daughter, Patricia Reedy, and one infant son, Larry Kaylor.
