Jeff French's Obituary
Jeff French, 74, of Lincoln, IL, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026. Born on September 5, 1951, Jeff was a quiet and gentle man who brought joy to those around him with his kind demeanor and ever-present smile.
Jeff had a passion for collecting model cars, t-shirts, and hats. His love for music, particularly songs by female singers, was a constant source of happiness in his life. He found fulfillment in helping others whenever he could, embodying a spirit of generosity and warmth that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Lorraine French; his sister, Lisa Fenimore; his brother, Scott French; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeff’s family and friends deeply cherished the time they shared with him and will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
A memorial service to honor Jeff’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 15 at 1 PM at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home located at 2801 Monroe St., Decatur, IL.
