Jennie B. Fields' Obituary
Jennie B. Fields, 92, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Lincoln Rehabilitation Center in Decatur.
Jennie was born September 5, 1921 in Decatur, the daughter of Eddie Alvin and Bertha Venters. She married Delmar F. Fields in Decatur in 1950. He preceded her in death in 1980.
Jennie leaves behind her son, Dirk (Deborah) Fields of Decatur; daughter, April “Kathy” (Doug) Taggart of Decatur; sister, Nettie Cook of Springfield; sister-in-law, Gorda Fields of Decatur; and grandchildren, Dane and Danelle.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Delmar; parents; brother, Delbert; and sisters, Dorothea and Helen.
Graveside services to celebrate Jennie’s life will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Graceland Cemetery.
